Sweco has signed an agreement to acquire Avecon Ltd, a Finnish engineering consultancy.  With the acquisition, Sweco is further strengthening its offering and presence in the Ostrobothnia region in Finland.

Avecon has 33 employees and is specialized in HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) and electrical engineering. The company was established in 1989 and has offices in Vaasa, Pietarsaari, Seinäjoki, Kokkola and Nivala.
