Effective August 15, 2022, Rasmus Nord takes up the position as new Business Area President for Sweco Norway and by this also becomes a member of Sweco’s Executive Team.

Rasmus Nord has been with Sweco Norway for fifteen years, the last four in the role as Executive Vice President for the Buildings division. He is a member of the management team for Sweco Norway and has prior to his present role, among others, headed the department of Building and Construction and before that, the department of Fire Protection Engineering and Acoustics, both in Norway.

”I am happy to announce Rasmus Nord as the new Business Area President for Sweco Norway and to welcome him to the Executive Team. His combination of great leadership skills and deep understanding of Sweco’s business will be an important asset for Sweco Norway going forward. I’d also like to take this opportunity to thank Grete Aspelund, who during her six years with Sweco has taken Sweco Norway to the strong market position it has today. Grete has been a valuable, co-operative and much appreciated member of Sweco’s Executive Team and I wish her all the best in her coming endeavours,” says Åsa Bergman, President and CEO of Sweco.

“I am highly motivated to take on the role as Business Area President for Sweco Norway, and to contribute to the continued journey for Sweco. Our mission is to shape the sustainable cities and societies of tomorrow, and the contribution of our expertise has probably never been more important than now. I am humble and exited to have the opportunity to lead this great organization with close to 2,000 passionate experts going forward,” says Rasmus Nord.
