SWECO Theorells appoints new Managing Director

December 6, 2005 | Press release

Karin Annerwall Parö has been appointed as the new Managing Director of SWECO Theorells with effect from 15 December. She will succeed Åsa Söderström Jerring, who will be leaving the SWECO Group.

Karin Annerwall Parö comes most recently from a position as regional manager for SWECO VBB in Stockholm. Karin is 44 years old, holds a licentiate degree in chemical engineering and has worked for SWECO since 2001. Among other things, she has been responsible for SWECO VBB’s assignments in connection with the Norra Länken and Citybanan infrastructure projects.

”Åsa Söderström Jerring has guided SWECO Theorells to a position as the leading building service systems consultancy in Sweden. Today the company has a strong brand and the expertise needed to capture additional market shares. This gives SWECO Theorells an excellent platform for growth in an expanding market, not least in the increasingly significant energy sector,” says Wigon Thuresson, Managing Director and CEO of SWECO.

Building service systems account for a rising share of property costs at both the construction and management stages, currently averaging at more than 50 per cent. SWECO Theorells has the knowledge and resources to deliver advanced solutions throughout the entire process from conceptual development to facility operation and management.

SWECO Theorells has 360 employees in some 20 locations throughout Sweden.
