Sweco joins World Business Council for Sustainable Development

Sweco has joined as a new member of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD), one of the world’s most influential sustainability organizations. The membership will give Sweco, the first Swedish consulting company to join, the opportunity to contribute to a sustainable future for business alongside 200 leading international corporations.

The membership is an acknowledgement of Sweco’s long-term commitment to creating sustainable business for clients all over the world,” says Tomas Carlsson, President and CEO of Sweco.

Peter Bakker, WBCSD President, emphasizes Sweco’s position as market leader in the Nordic region with an international team of engineers, architects and environmental experts working together to create sustainable development solutions that contribute to a sustainable society.
