Stockholm Transport has appointed SWECO to manage projects concerning the rehabilitation of four platforms and two bridges in the Stockholm Underground network. The assignments are worth approximately 660,000 euros.

“We were given the contracts due to previous successful assignments carried out for Stockholm Transport since 2000, which involved the rehabilitation of platforms. Through working with a discerning client and having had continuous collaboration, we have been awarded more contracts, which is both satisfying and stimulating,” advises SWECO Project Leader Johan Axelsson.

SWECO will take charge the planning and preparation of the tender documentation, the procurement of contractors, the construction management and the finalisation of the project.

The assignments are currently at the planning stage and construction work will commence during summer/autumn 2005. All six projects are expected to be finalised by autumn 2007.
