Sweco acquires the Dutch architecture firm JHK Architecten and the architecture and engineering company VAN AKEN
The two acquisitions, with a total of approximately 70 experts, will establish an architecture platform for Sweco in the Netherlands and strengthen Sweco’s position as Europe’s leading architectural and engineering consultancy.
The expertise and qualities from both companies will enable Sweco to offer clients in the Netherlands integrated engineering and architecture services, and to add value earlier in the design process.
“By adding architecture services to our portfolio in the Netherlands, we will strengthen our client offering and thus also our contribution to society. Together with our new colleagues, we will create even more value by delivering the most sustainable solutions,” says Eugene Grüter, President of Sweco Netherlands.
