SWECO acquires strategic development and analysis company EuroFutures

February 1, 2007 | Press release

SWECO FFNS Arkitekter has acquired the consulting firm of EuroFutures AB with 15 employees. The acquisition will strengthen SWECO FFNS’s position in urban planning and strategic development.

EuroFutures AB’s core operations consist of analysis and strategic development services in four areas: Growth Policy, Evaluation, Regional Development and Trends & Companies. Aside from its own consultants, EuroFutures has a wide network of expert partners in Sweden, the Baltic region, Europe and the USA. EuroFutures will change name to SWECO EuroFutures.

”Our clients are increasingly seeking analyses with a broader and more in-depth knowledge content than is traditionally covered in the field of architecture, such as social analyses and strategies for commercial/business development. With this acquisition, we are expanding our capabilities to offer qualified services in growth policy and trend analyses on behalf of businesses, organisations, public agencies and municipalities,” says Jan Mattsson, Managing Director of SWECO FFNS.

”We have chosen our partner with great care and see major scope to integrate our services into SWECO’s business. EuroFutures will benefit from access to SWECO’s expertise in areas like energy, industrial engineering, urban planning and GIS,” says Stig Björne, VD SWECO EuroFutures.
