PIC Engineering has made agreements on consulting engineering assignments with two customers acting internationally in the chemical industry and the pulp & paper industry. These orders received by PIC’s Process Industry Division include detail engineering related to two major new process plants. The total value of the orders exceeds 10 M€ corresponding to 135 man-years’ load.

“We are happy to receive these assignments. Consequently, the order book of all the business units of Process Industry Division will be good in Finland in 2004 and partly also in 2005. PIC got these orders during downswing in the industry which proves the importance of long-term, confidential customer relations and efficient consulting engineering work shown by PIC in earlier assignments,” says Kari Harsunen, Vice President, Process Industry Division.

Jukka Korvenoja and Seppo Kuusivuori are serving as project managers in these assignments which will be carried out in accordance with the renewed quality assurance system of PIC.
