Design inspired by Swedish nature

The architectural design is in harmony with the natural landscape of the forests and mountains of the region. Timber is used extensively in visible elements, complemented by stainless steel pools, large glazed surfaces and concrete in the parts of the building located below ground level.

With a shared entrance hall and a cafe, the new swimming pool has been connected to the existing ice rink. This has created a hub for the entire sports area, which also functions as a social space for the local population. In addition to ice skating, playing ice hockey and swimming, visitors can now enjoy some light refreshments and a chat.
