For most people waste symbolises something that’s not wanted, a problem, a cost and maybe even a failure. But for Sweco, waste management is an exciting business area where there are marvellous opportunities to contribute to the sustainable development of society and a better environment.

Our mission, as waste management consultants, is to find methods of transforming as much as possible of our waste to new raw materials. We also deal with the waste that cannot or should not be recycled, in an environmentally friendly way. Usually we are already involved at the earliest stage, i.e. planning for the reduction of waste that will arise.
