Every year Sweco carries out a large amount of investigations, examinations and training within the environmental field. For example, we assist with permit applications and Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs) for various types of activities. We can also contribute by making inspections, taking samples, performing risk analyses and creating supervision programmes.

In connection with investments in property and companies, Sweco’s specialists help identify technical deficiencies and environmental risks and then evaluate them financially. This type of risk assessment is called Technical and Environmental Due Diligence, TEDD. The analysis means that costs in connection with risks and deficiencies become clear both for the buyer and seller.

Sweco has also substantial expertise in assisting with different kinds of operating systems. We can develop quality and environmental management systems and those for health and safety at work, based on industry standards and legislation. At the same time, we strive to adapt management systems to the client’s activities and requirements.
