Sustainable master planning

Our speciality is Sustainable Master Planning, with a strong approach focusing on the creation of a long lasting and attractive living in harmony with the environment. Our principles for planning are

  • Sustainable
  • Ecological
  • Human
  • Modern

Sustainable

The Sustainable approach is based on Sustainable City Concept, developed by Professor Ulf Ranhagen in Sweco, a holistic concept for a sustainable development of cities and communities. The concept's eco-cycle model, the working methods and tools are now a natural part of Sweco’s work in urban planning projects. The concept has been implemented in a number of international projects in China, Russia, Canada, Ireland and South Africa.

Ecological

We create environments with sustainable ecological conditions with biodiversity and habitat for wildlife, where we balance the choice of vegetation most suitable for the prevalent conditions. Our aim is to find the balance when designing, all aspects reflected.

Human

Our main objective is to create attractive living situations of high quality with a unique character and identity. We believe that the Scandinavian tradition of Urban Planning, Landscape and Housing layout and design embraces universal and timeless learning that can be combined with the local demands and needs.

Modern

The design will reflect the Scandinavian design concept of refinement and cool maturity which matches the taste of modern life as well as the respect for the environment.
